2 Year Fixed

2 YEAR FIXED PLAN- residential customer

  1. This fixed rate is for Dual Strike (electricity and gas) or electricity only approved new Hanergy customers.
  2. This fixed price will apply for a term of 2 years from your new plan start date.
  3. Fixed price plan benefits:
    1. Hanergy’s additional Prompt Payment Discount (“PPD”) is for electricity only and Dual Strike (electricity and gas) customers on this price plan. You must pay your bill on-time and in full to receive your PPD on that bill. Any bills not paid on-time and in full will not receive PPD.
    2. Email discount, you need to be signed up to receive your bill and correspondence by email.
    3. Dual Strike customer and qualify for the associated discount, you need to purchase electricity from us plus at least one of the following fuel types at the same premises on the same bill:
      1. Hanergy natural gas; or
      2. Hanergy bottled LPG for 2 or more installed 45kg cylinders.
  4. The Fixed price plan does not include GST, Electricity Authority levy and any of the Hanergy Service Fees (as available on our website). Any subsequent change to the NZ Government GST rate, and Hanergy Service Fees within the period of this agreement will apply. Please note that while the rates for other individual components of your total price may change, your total prices will remain the same in line with this plan.
  5. Your fixed prices are based on your current meter type. If you move property during the fixed period:
    1. You can take your fixed price plan with you so long as your move is within the same network and your new property has the same meter type; or
    2. If we are unable to transfer your fixed price plan forward for you, you will revert to Freedom Hanergy prices and you will not be charged an early termination fee, provided you remain a Hanergy customer. Please contact us to get more information before you move.
    3. If your meter type changes, where possible Hanergy will put you on the fixed price plan for your new meter.
    4. If your current meter configuration is incorrect, we will place you on the correct pricing plan that matches your meter. We will notify you by sending email.
  6. When Fixed price plan term ends, your fixed price plan term (and each subsequent renewal term (if any)), will be automatically renewed for a further term if Hanergy sends you written notice of your new fixed prices before the end of the term.
    1. If, for any reason, Hanergy does not notify you of the prices that will apply to a renewal term before the end of the then-current term, your fixed price plan will expire at the end of such term. If your fixed price plan term is not renewed at the end of the then-current term (for any reason) then you will automatically change to Hanergy Freedom prices at the end of such term.
    2. If you switching to another energy supplier before the end of this Fixed price plan (including any renewal contract terms), an early termination fee of $400 per electricity installation control point (ICP) will apply.
  7. This offer or pricing plan cannot be combined (in whole or in part) with any other Hanergy offer or pricing plan.
  8. New customers who complete the switch to Hanergy will receive welcome electricity credit plus natural gas credit, which will be applied from the second Hanergy bill. This credit is not transferrable, refundable or redeemable for cash. Welcome credit only applies once per address.
  9. This Fixed price plan special terms should be read along with our General terms and conditions for residential customers. If there are any inconsistencies between the two, this Fixed Plan special terms will prevail.
